Kershaw, 25, is a third-year player out of Maryland who has bounced around from practice squad to practice squad over the past three seasons. He has appeared in three regular season NFL games (two with Kansas City and one with Houston) but has not recorded a tackle. His addition is likely to add depth to the inside linebacker spot with Channing Crowder nursing a knee injury.
