Broncos-Chargers flexed to Sunday night in Week 17

In large part due to the Jets' loss to Seattle today (thus not guaranteeing the AFC East winner will come from the Dolphins-Jets game next week) NBC has decided to flex the Broncos-Chargers game to their Sunday night broadcast instead of the Dolphins-Jets. It makes sense, as the Broncos and Chargers will be playing for the AFC West title.

CBS now has a hole to fill in the 4:15 time slot, meaning the Dolphins-Jets game could quite possibly be moved from 1 p.m. to later in the afternoon. Perhaps if that happens and the Patriots beat Buffalo (knocking the Jets out of playoff contention) New York will be so deflated Miami will be able to beat them and win the division. Or perhaps Eric Mangini will let us win just to stick it to the Bill Belichick and the Pats. Seems possible to me.
