Dolphins-Jets to play at 4:15; Jets could still make Wild Card

As expected, the Dolphins-Jets game has been moved to 4:15 p.m. EST. Originally thought to be a possibility for the Sunday night game, those hopes were dashed when the Jets lose to Seattle yesterday.

The Bills-Patriots game will still be at 1 p.m. EST. A Bills win would give the Jets a shot at the division title if they can beat Miami. A Bills loss means the Jets are out of the hunt for the AFC East crown.

However, regardless of the outcome of the Bills-Patriots game, don't expect to the Jets to throw in the towel. Also moved to a 4:15 starting time was the Jaguars-Ravens game. This is significant because if Jacksonville beats Baltimore, the Jets can secure the last wild card spot with a win over Miami. So don't be expecting a Jets team to come out deflated, because they won't know their fate when they are playing the Dolphins.
