Breaking News: Dolphins Add CFL Defensive Star Cameron Wake

After working him out on Thursday, the Dolphins reeled in a potentially great sleeper by signing CFL defensive end Cameron Wake.

Undrafted out of Penn State in 2005, Wake spent time with the New York Giants before moving on to the BC Lions of the CFL in 2007. He recorded 39 sacks during his first two seasons in the league, earning Western Division All-Star honors and the CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player Award both years.

Wake had received interest from 17 NFL teams and worked out for eight. He received a four-year contract from the Dolphins that could be worth up to $4.9 million and included a $1 million signing bonus. He will play outside linebacker in the Dolphins' 3-4 scheme.

I'll have more on this move in an analysis article tomorrow, so stay tuned!
