Breaking News: Dolphins acquire DT Tony McDaniel from Jaguars

Clearly not wanting to wait until April to use all their draft picks, ESPN's John Clayton reported Thursday that the Dolphins have sent one of their three seventh-round picks in the 2009 NFL Draft to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for defensive tackle Tony McDaniel.

Undrafted out of Tennessee in 2006, McDaniel (6-7, 310) has appeared in 25 games for the Jaguars as a reserve defensive lineman over the last three season. He has recorded 37 tackles, 1.5 sacks and four pass deflections in his career.

I'll have more on this acquisition later today, so stay tuned!
