Bryant McFadden Lands with Cardinals

Dolphins fans hoping the team would land free agent cornerback Bryant McFadden (and I count myself among those fans) will be disappointed to learn that the Steelers free agent has signed a two-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals.

The 27-year-old McFadden received a two-year, $10 million contract from Arizona with $5 million guaranteed. A second-round pick out of Florida State in 2005, McFadden has 135 tackles, two sacks, seven interceptions and 28 pass deflections in four pro seasons.

The Dolphins are still searching for a starting cornerback to team with Will Allen after Andre' Goodman left for Denver in free agency. Notable cornerbacks remaining on the free agent market include Chris McAlister (Ravens), Leigh Bodden (Lions), Eric Green (Cardinals), Karl Paymah (Broncos), Deltha O'Neal (Patriots), Leigh Torrence (Saints) and Ty Law (Jets). Green visited the Dolphins on Monday, March 4.
