Thanksgiving Day game predictions

Instead of waiting until Sunday and letting you know who I picked for today's games with the rest of Sunday's picks, I thought I might as well post and give them to you now. Because I know you all are going to be bored and checking my blog throughout the day, right?

Packers over Lions — Matthew Stafford is a gutsy performer and the Lions put up big numbers last week, but you can't really pick them against a much better opponent in the Packers.

Cowboys over Raiders — Bruce Gradkowski certainly gives the Raiders a better chance of winning than JaMarcus Russell, but he can't do it all himself. The Cowboys won an ugly game last week against the Redskins, but I expect them to rebound against a very poor Oakland team.

Giants over Broncos — Everyone seems to like New York in this game and I do too, but something worries me about a team flying from the east coast to Denver on a short week. Still, I have to go with the team I like the best, and that's the Giants.

I hope everyone has a great and safe Thanksgiving! Thank you for visiting my site!
