Dolphins-Bears Game Prediction
Of course, the Miami Dolphins are playing on the NFL Network this Thursday night, so I decided I would indeed post my prediction.
The Bears come in with a better record at 6-3 and most recently earned a big division win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10.
That being said, I'm not a huge fan of this team overall and I don't believe them to be as good as their record.
They have a good defense and good special teams, but their offensive line is horrendous. When Jay Cutler doesn't get protection, he's prone to making mistakes, and the game can unravel in a hurry.
The Dolphins' secondary is coming off a very good game, while Cameron Wake is hungry for another big game after a quiet performance against Tennessee. I think a dominant pass rush by Miami could make things much harder on the Bears' passing game.
Yeah, the Dolphins have the worse record and are down to their third-string quarterback in Tyler Thigpen, but I simply like their overall talent better and give them a slight advantage at home.
Let's not forget—Miami's four losses have come to the clear-cut four best teams in the AFC, while Chicago has dropped games to the likes of Seattle and Washington.
If Miami can mount a strong pass rush on defense and prevent any big plays on special teams, they are the better team in this match-up and should come away with the win.
Miami Dolphins: 27
Chicago Bears: 17
